Zizus is 5!!!!
Time flies when you’re having fun! It has been a real rollercoaster ride over the last 5 years; when we opened the nursery we could never imagine in our wildest dreams how crazy the past 18 months would be.
We would love for everyone to come and celebrate with us on our special day. It’s FREE entry but ticket numbers are limited and must be pre-booked here.
A message from Maaz
Firstly, as the owner of this wonderful Nursery, I wanted to say a huge thank you to all our parents, for allowing us to look after your children this year. It’s been a privilege and we are truly grateful for the opportunity.
2019 has seen a number of transformational changes implemented at Zizus including the introduction of Tapestry – our digital learning journal for children which is used by thousands of schools and nurseries around the country. I hope you are benefiting from daily updates on your childs progress and development using the app. It would be great to know what you think and how we could improve communications further so that you are fully up to speed with how your child is doing with us.
Zizus celebrated our 3-year anniversary in September, and we have come a long way since we first opened our doors in 2016, most notably being recognised as a top 20 most recommended children’s nursery in the North East for the third year in a row! It’s also been a significant year where we have seen a new management team put in place. Sarah Fletcher joined us in September 2018 as a highly experienced nursery manager and I have been delighted with the impact she has made, not only with the day to day operations, but also how she is managing a diverse team of Nursery Practitioners and ensuring we continually deliver a best in class standard of childcare that meets the expectations of what the Zizus brand stands for.
This is a special time of the year when we get to spend some quality time with the family and the kids are bursting with excitement eagerly awaiting to see what presents Santa will bring them!

We are always looking to recruit talented child care practitioners at Zizus, and in 2019 we implemented a stringent recruitment policy that ensures we can support our team with the necessary training and resources to give you children an outstanding level of childcare.
Zizus 2020 Vision!
Our nursery looks very different to how it did 3 years ago! It’s imperative for us to continually evolve our setting and introduce innovative new ways of helping our children develop and prepare them for the next stage of their childhood. We have some exciting activities planned for 2020.
Feb Half Term @Crazy Crocs Holiday Club
Zizus are renowned for putting on a fantastic holiday club where we take school aged children out and about all over the local area each day during the main holidays.
February half term will soon be upon us. Details will be posted on our website and Facebook page shortly of the events calendar.
